Do’s and Don’ts:
- Not every ingredient suits every individual’s skin so make sure to always patch test for irritation or redness. Apply a small amount on your wrist to check that the ingredient suits you before deciding to apply it all over your face.
- Always cleanse your face properly before applying a mask. Dirt, oil and makeup on the skin will prevent the goodness of your natural remedy from penetrating into the skin, giving you less than satisfactory results.
- Whenever you remove a mask with water or a wet washcloth, immediately follow up with a moisturizer. It is important to lock in the moisture before skin gets dry.
- Always try to use fresh ingredients in natural homemade remedies.
