Our skin responds to summer differently, unlike winters. So, if you use to apply foaming face wash in winters and nourishing or oil containing products in your daily routine, you need to change it.
In summers the skin gives out more oil as compared to winters. If you have dry skin then you need a completely different way to go about your skincare routine. Here are some tips that can help you take care of your skin under the summer skin.
Skincare under the Summer Sun
1. Wash your face
Wash your face more often if your skin feels clogged or sticky or sweaty. You can use a face wash that can draw out excess oil from your skin if you have oily skin.
This will work even if you have dry skin or combination skin.

2. Keep your skin hydrated
Washing your skin with water or a cleanser is not the same as hydration. Hydration with a moisturizer is recommended that will repair and soothe your skin.
This gives you sun protection with the moisturizer.

3. Wear sunscreen
I would suggest that you do not use a sunscreen with higher SPF. Why? In my experience higher the SPF, the more uneasy my skin feels. It’s my personal feeling so I usually go for not more than 30 SPF. That too, I usually apply a very thin layer or just a small amount of it for protection against UVA and UVB rays. Sunscreens cannot completely protect your skin from sun radiation.

4. Water is worth gold
Drink plenty of water in summers for your skin to have that fresh look. It will keep your skin supple and radiant. Do not go overboard with water as excess water can cause other health issues. The ideal limit is 2 to 3 liters depending on your physical activity.

5. Wear Sunglasses
The skin around your eyes is sensitive and prone to fast aging. So, choose your sunglasses with UV protection. If they are a little wider and bigger, they will also protect your skin around your eyes.
